  • Attended Carlson College of Massage Stone City, IA becoming Certified Massage Therapist with 800 hours of continuing education since graduating, CEU’s Paul St. John method of Neuromuscular Therapy.

  • Employed at University of Kentucky Research Lab as Level 4 Animal Lab Technician working with various species including canine.

  • Instructor for Central Kentucky Riding for the Handicapped, Lexington, KY.

  • Three year equine work study in Europe (France/Germany/England) focused in Dressage.

  • Graduate of Potomac Horse Center in Gaithersburg, MD with a Horse Masters, Instructors and Stable Management Degree.

  • In 2009, opened one of Iowa’s first indoor canine gym and structured doggie daycares.

  • In 2008, he co-founded FidoFit as a mobile business with his wife, Mary.

  • In 2004, he co-founded Shampoodles with his wife, Mary. He is the owner and operator. Shampoodles is an Iowa licensed holistic dog grooming business.

  • Attended classes in Columbia, Missouri. *RVIA RVDA certified.

  • Assisted his Father's DNR licensed business of hatching, raising and releasing of native turtles.

  • Assisted in full animal husbandry care of his father’s hunting kennel. *Includes, but not limited to, breeding training, and maintenance.
